Next Food Network Star: Amazing No Cook Chocolate Hazelnut Bites Video
No oven? No problem! 4 ingredients. 5 minutes. So what exactly have I been cooking up in the Simply Savor kitchen?? Actually NOTHING.
On today’s menu: Amazing No Cook Chocolate Hazelnut Bites.
The bidding got pretty intense during the silent auction bake sale at the Healthy Living Summit, and I had a lot of people ask me how I made these treats. So here it is…my first video post (ahh!) so you all can see how simple it is to prepare yourselves!
I admit I may have been watching one too many episodes of The Next Food Network Star when I filmed this, but hey if you can’t laugh at yourself… right?
Hope you all enjoy!
Ingredients
1 jar Futter’s Chocolate Haze (lnut Butter)
1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Meal Powder (can also use cocoa powder)
1 cup BearNaked Banana and Walnut Granola (can use any granola of your choice)
1/4 cup honey
In the end, my Amazing No Cook Chocolate Hazelnut Bites went to the lovely, Elizabeth who even tweeted about them (ellie88@simplysavor Your chocolate hazelnut bites are delicious! And i just checked out Futters and want to order some of their products soon!)—so glad you enjoyed!
Stay tuned, I’ll be announcing the winner of my Amazing Grass Best of Both Combo giveaway at lunch, and doing a weekend recap of my Boston adventures at the Healthy Living Summit!
Question for you:
What are your quick “go-to” dessert recipes when that sweet tooth suddenly hits?
Mine is to quickly heat up Vitalicious Brownies spread with peanut butter, or blending up some of Gena’s banana soft serve ice cream!

Can’t wait for your recap! Sorry we didn’t meet at the Summit. Enjoy the soft serve on this hot day!
This video was adorable. You remind me of Giada when you talk about the Nutella. I also love your apron.
When my sweet tooth attacks I usually mix some nut butter with a bit of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon and eat it on toast… or drive down the street for some gelato.
Cool recipe and video! It was so nice meeting you this weekend, Kristen!
Those look great and so easy! Your video was great. My favorite quick dessert is to cut a banana length-wise, spread with nut butter, a little honey and raisins. I call it ants on a banana log. I also love frozen cherries and frozen grapes.
I am loving the video and the recipe! Those are simple enough and look SO good! Thanks, I can’t wait to try these
you are adorable! what a great recipe. im going to send this link to futters, they will probably want to put this on their recipe page! thanks for the shoutout. all the best with the giveaway, bake sale benefit, and healthy living summit.
As I said this weekend, these look SO good! I really want to try that chocolate haze now.
PS LOVE your apron.
What an awesome recipe. Such a cute video too:-) I’m so glad I stumbeled upon your blog- I love it!
You are too cute! I admit I was one of the ones eyeing not those cookies! Thanks for the step by step process
Get it. Kristen, those look amazing. What a great little chef / role model you are!
I love Happy Hippos! I live in Scotland and made a friend’s birthday cake out of them one year = )
This recipe looks so easy and delicious–thanks for posting it!
ahh I think you’re the only other person i’ve met who knows what happy hippos are! they’re hands down the best thing i’ve ever tasted…and making a birthday cake out of them??–genius!
